Natural Falls State Park in West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma

J & I flew home on Sunday the 17th and my dad flew in for a visit on Monday the 18th. We have not been together in a year and a half, so, we have a lot of catching up to do. He is here until Saturday evening so I will probably "update" my blog on Monday.

In the meantime here are some pic's from the last week. My dad loves to be outdoors and as I have mentioned I LOVE hiking so we have done a lot of it this week.

My dad took all of the photo's except for the one he is in. We are having a beautiful spring here and God has really blessed our weather this last week.

A Good Day

Today was J's day off. He has been wanting an iPhone for a while now. We have not been able to afford it, and it looked like it was going to be awhile yet. Yesterday his boss took him and bought him one, complete with a $25 itunes gift card. WOW! So we stayed up late with the kid's playing with it. It is so cool! I had no idea all of the things it could do.

We woke up at 6, I should say he woke up at 6, he was just too excited to sleep when he could play with his new toy. The kids both woke up early and the three of them sat in bed shopping for app's for a couple of hours.

We got around about 11, and went to my favorite park. I have mentioned it here before. The pic's are at the top. It was a perfect day here, sunny and about 70. We stopped for lunch and then went to a high school baseball game. It was just a great family day!
